Cara Michele
Producer and Artistic Director

Cara Michele grew up on the island of Oahu where she developed her passion for the arts. After Hawaii she moved to Pittsburgh and attended Point Park University where she received her Bachelors in Theatre Arts and minored in both English and Psychology. Cara moved on to explore other areas of education pertaining to the arts and attained a certificate in Drama Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh. In 2001 she relocated to New York City and has been working there since. In February 2002 she realized that she had to make an opportunity for herself. The only way to get ahead was to incorporate her educational background and passion. That is when, quite by chance, Big Break Productions began.

Jerry Matello
Assistant Producer and Casting

Jerome Metallo discovered his proclivity for acting while attending the University of Pittsburgh for a Bachlors in Literature. He began his acting career at the Freeport Theatre outside of Pittsburg. From there he moved on to other regional theatres, playing various roles. After honing his craft, he embarked on his adventure to the Big Apple. His partnership with Cara Michele and Big Break Productions lead to his first Off-Broadway show Postions Available.
